Are original documents required for a certified translation?

Generally, we do not need original documents for the certified translation, unless the authority where you have to submit the certified translation requires so. For a certified translation, we ask you to send us fully legible scans, i.e. PDF or JPEG files.

If you need a certified translation based on the original documents, which is nowadays only required in individual cases, please contact us in advance before sending us the documents by post. Please write us an e-mail and send at least the photos of the documents for a quotation.

Do you need a certified translation of an official document, a birth or marriage certificate, a diploma? We will take care of it quickly, safely and easily! For a certified translation you do not need to go to the translation office in person, we only need the electronic copy, i.e. the scan or a very good photo of the document that you would like to have translated. You can upload this scan of the document to our translation portal or send it to us by e-mail for a quote.
